The Work Number automates employment and income verification so HR teams no longer answer these requests by hand. Employers contribute employment records each payroll cycle, directly or through payroll providers, at no additional cost. Credentialed verifiers who meet Fair Credit Reporting Act standards can then access the data, and each verification is tracked. Employees can review their own data and a two-year history of requests.
